Returning A Recovered Pilot To Flight Status

HIMS (Human Intervention Motivation Study) AMEs are trained in evaluating pilots with substance or alcohol-related conditions or other mental conditions. The FAA may require any pilot to consult with a HIMS AME in order to receive a medical certification for these conditions.
